If you were an animal, which animal would you be?
Why do you relate to this animal? Describe why by providing some descriptive adjectives, or a brief story of your experience with this animal?
it'll have to be a dog.. the loyalty.. the companion.. and the good nature...
I would be a buzzard, which is a bird of prey.
From early boyhood I've been fascinated by this large bird - it floats, wheels, soars, glides, swoops and calls out with a haunting meeeuuw as it rises on a thermal. Wings wide and long to catch the warm air, then rising up above the mess of earth to circle towards the sun.
I think it's this quality of being that fascinates me. Could be the idea of pure escapism or the sensation of being in total control of your element whilst using only instinct.
So, a buzzard I would be, for its stance against gravity.
Probably an otter because they have a lot of fun, stay in family groups and are good on both land and water. They look sleek too. Never had anything directly to do with em but I did read "ring of bright water" and have seen those guys on tv docos. Freedom, happiness and carefree fun!
