If YOU were to suddenly become the new poor from a formerly upper middle class lifestyle,
how would you.....REACT? Would you become depressed, even resigned regarding your situation or would you fight back even harder to regain your former status?
I grew up in an upper middle class family and had a great job in my early twenties. Now I'm 54 and I'm at the bottom 12% USA standards but still the top 12% worldwide which reframes my mind to think live does no totally suck for me.
This can happen due to job loss, divorce, disability. The problem isn't a "class downgrade", but loss of income.
The solution temporarily is to adjust spending to match the new income, where possible, and then work your way back up to the old income level if possible.
