What is the difference between motivation and criticism?

As some individuals used criticism and call it motivation but deep inside one should alway know the difference always between the two.

Motivation is often internal, driving you regardless of what others say.
Criticism is what others say, often to slow you down.

In my life I've seen motivation and criticism aspects being directed at others and what I can say is that the both of them is the different from the other in ways of meaning, essence and poised.

The goal. Motivation has foundation in psychology while criticism has in education.
