"Create more consume less"-Are men losing out on their transitional ritual of shifting from consumer

to producer and creator because this stage of profession-marriage-children is becoming less preferred? So they are buying more convenience foods, buying more games toys  therefore experiencing a longer twilight phase.

The greater contributing factor is a society that demonizes and devalues men. Marriage is mocked while wives get preference in court for assets and children, so why get married? Men don't receive inherent respect for working and supporting families anymore, while women receive preferences in hiring and are last to be fired (which is why Great Recession unemployment was worse for men).
Add in a society that never shows a competent married white man on TV, always making him good but bumbling or stupid, more often shiftless and unemployed or second to a competent wife, and guys have no role models to be the stable contributing husbands they were 50 years ago and not many more reasons to become such.

I haven't personally experienced that swing in the population to demonize men and devalue men? Men are still up there.
Women who want children still need their men to have a stable reliable income.Casualization of work should not have evolved.
