Why do SOME poor people in America expect for others to supply them w/an affluent
lifestyle? Why do these poor people expect to socioeconomically coast off other people?
Afflluent people are busy "gaming" the system all the time and yes, they feel entitled to do it too. Why do members of the house and senate feel entitled to affluent lives, with the best benefits money (my taxpayer dollars) can buy? Why do CEO's feel entitled to take a $40 million termination package even though they drove a company into the ground and innocent hard working employees lost their jobs?
There are people, regardless of their socioeconomics, who feel entitled to affluence. Remember, there are numerous corporations who take advantage of corporate welfare all the time.

Why do some people think they are entitled to things that others work hard for? Here in the UK there is a debate about those on welfare being better off than some people who work. Do you think those who receive welfare are entitled to the same living standards as those who work?
