   No, I am not speaking from a religious perspective.  I am speaking from an analytical viewpoint.   Most people are asleep in terms of societal paradigms.  They mindlessly accept w/tradition, family, religious, & other outside influences tell them to accept.  It is the rare individual who is an independent, unconventional thinker who goes his/her own way.   There will only be a few people who get the message to be their best selves & to live life on THEIR OWN terms.  The majority of people will simply follow the prescribed script of what their lives should & ought to be.  Agree?  Disagree?

      I agree because most people are asleep at the wheel and don't want to be disturbed from their comfort zone. Spiritual people listen to their higher power and allow themselves to be directed by a higher purpose. But few people on this planet have awakened enough to do that. The person whom you've termed an "unconventional thinker" is usually an awakened or an awakening soul who is trying to live up to the soul contract that soul made on the other side of the veil before taking a body on this earth. We all make soul contracts, but most of us don't remember them once we get into our earthly lives. That's the reason for reincarnation, another chance to get it right. But most of you don't harbor that belief, so that's why they think there is such a thing as damnation and hellfire and a path to salvation.
      You explained that you were speaking from an analytical viewpoint rather than a religious or spiritual one. Frankly, I can't separate the two. So if you want an analytical muggle viewpoint, all I can say is that I agree. Most people take the easy way out.

         I find it maddening.  I see many people just accepting.  They don't have the fight within them.  They accept their familial dictates as to what their lives should be.  They don't strive to be their best person but to be mediocre.  Sadly, most people lead GREY, MONOTONOUS lives.

            You both got it. Lol, it's just funny to hear it openly, because most carry on like sheep and sheep dogs and go back to sleep, to their American dream.
