Ive just been in the stunning Rome on a viaggi studio studying Italian to set up as a teacher there this coming summer I had a fantastic time and am so glad to be able to say Im going back to live! The city is alive with culture and there are so many people eager to learn the perfect place to start as a newly qualified TEFL teacher! I have taught English as a foreign language before (to Spanish people in the US in an escuela de ingles en Nueva York) but this time Ill be going it alone, doing private classes. I look forward to the liberty I experienced whilst a student in Sweden (I studied Japanska at the capitals university and had the time of my life there! I would recommend learning Japanese to anyone though for beginner language learners perhaps the romantic Italian would be easier given that it at least uses the same alphabet as English!). So all that is left is to complete my business internship abroad Ireland and Ill be ready for the Italian life! If anyone has any tips to go about advertising my services, please let me know I plan to go and leave leaflets in the university buildings but was looking for something a little more inspirational
Man, there are too many outgoing links in this post. Not Good.

Which foreign languages do you know and how did you come to learn them?As a frame of reference, it would also be interesting to know what your native language is. I also think the difference between learning as a child and learning as an adult is very interesting.

Why are so many people saying "Speak English only"? It makes that person sound so racist! USA is supposed to be a melting pot of different cultures, races, and LANGUAGES! Shame on anyone who says "Speak English only"!

I would like to work abroad teaching English. But the number of options of courses to take to get a TEFL qualification seems a bit confusing. Is it better applying for the most expensive or is that not necessary?

It seems the rise of the political right in the European elections has started the lefty leaners to question their ability to continue to fool most of the people most of the time.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27593556What Milliband and his crew don't seem to understand is that the shortages...
