Marx predicted the collapse of capitalism. But he didn't see the different gadgets, that were yet to come, that increased consumer demand and hence boosted economies. He didn't foresee the trad unions or rise of soviet union that tempers capitalists. Now that unions are gone and spectre of communism not anywhere near, capitalism is showing its true colors(like CEOs drawing a huge salary while the other workers are getting a meagre), and the product market is getting slowly saturated, the collapse is getting near, as predicted. Then what'll happen? There is no other economic system, we know currently, that works.
