A Gifted Man: In Case of Discomfort

Micheal is interviewing a new medical director for the free clinic and his friend turns down the job and he has to resort to more aggressive recruiting tactics. As Micheal tends to one of the clinic patients and the patient codes. He manages to bring the patient back but the patient is uninsured. His wife makes an appearance again and thanks him for helping.

Micheal also meets a pilot, Carol Gordon, that has a wrist problem and during the exam she runs out on him. Carol is diagnosed with brain lesions.

It is clear Micheal is doing dual duty with both the free clinic patients and the up scale patients.

This show gives the idea of what medicine should be and the desperately between what the wealth receive as health care and what the poor receive as health care. His wife Anna has encouraged him to be a better human being.
