Review (spoiler free):
I love action/spy movies. When they're done really well. Well, along with U.N.C.L.E, this one succeeded as well (I thoroughly enjoyed Spy too - Will review another time). This one had the best action/fight scenes ever.
I honestly can't think of another movie that had sick action scenes like these.
Plot: We follow Eggsy, who gets recruited into a secret spy organization with the help of Harry Hart. We do see a lot of trials he has to go through with a number of other participants to pass to be considered an agent. It was definitely fun to see this in action, and done so well. I have seen 2 other films that follow young agents (Stormbreaker and Cody Banks), and while they were sorta fun, they look like a joke compared to this movie.
The villain was fun too. He was super weird, and his sidekick was..just wow. The whole reason was not knew, as most villains like doing apocalyptic stuff...but the execution was what made this movie so successful.
This movie is professional, extremely well written, has amazing characters (good and bad), the action scenes are professionally done with beautiful choreography, and we have Colin Firth. I mean...what else do you want? Yes..I'm one of those weirdos that fell in love with Firth in P&P as Mr. Darcy.
I mean, you can't blame me. He's an old guy but he looks amazing. The story might be about Eggsy, but Harry is at the heart of it all.
Honestly, I don't have much else to say. I did like that the ending had a twist with Eggsy's last trial. I knew that that was a fluke, but Eggsy fell for it. I liked that, while at the same time I was upset with him for not seeing that. And obviously the last twist, which gets revealed in the second movie trailer. I had a hard time believing it to be true, and I do believe the director or someone confirmed that it wasn't true...so I'm not sure why people were upset that the second movie trailer "spoiled" a twist. It didn't look or feel like a spoiler.

Conclusion:
This whole review is going to stay spoiler free. I don't want to spoil because it just doesn't seem like there is a point to it. You just have to watch and enjoy it. I can't gush over most of the things because it's really about the action, and the action is fuuuuuun.
Go watch it. Gentleman being not so gentle. It'll be great. I promise.

Eggys - street kid turned spy:
Eggsy might not be the best person in the world, but he sure knew how to parkour, fight, and drive like a pro.
Ha. I know that's a lot of skills for a street kid..but he knows parkour. I have a soft spot for parkour. I see it, I immediately like. I'm a simple person like that.
Nobody said this was a true story! It's just fun action film.
Church Fight:
I think if you asked anyone what their favorite part of the movie was..they would say the church fight scene. I know that's where my mind goes. The bar fight is a close one for Colin too...but honestly..there were so many amazing action scenes, that it's just safer to say Church scene as best one.
That scene was just epic. And the fact that the villain is such a wuss that he can't even handle blood..but he's totally down for killing most of humanity. I guess this is one very unique way to give character to an antagonist. Ha.
I don't want to include the scene..because I just want people to enjoy it when they watch the movie...though if you are curious....youtube has the clip of it.
Gazelle:
Gazelle was hands down my favorite character. You know how people say there aren't enough bad ass women in movies? Clearly they don't know where to look.
Resident Evil, Underworld, Ultraviolet, Elektra....none of them compare to Gazelle. She has the coolest legs ever. LOL. I was honestly amazed with her blade feet, her clothes, the way she carried herself, and her fighting skills.
Really, she might be the bad guy in this movie, but I enjoyed her scenes more than any other (I mean, Colin Firth will always come first for me...but She's almost on his level of awesomeness).
I really wish we had a spin off movie of her story/background and how she got to being Kingsman enemy. I'm extremely curious to know how she got those legs. Bet that would be an awesome story!

Sequel to Kingsman!!!!
Kingsman Sequel!
Words cannot describe how excited I am for the sequel!!!!!
The music (my way - Frank Sinatra) was perfect for the trailer (and how they made it fit!). The action looked amazing, as usual!
Honestly..I'm just going to gush over this..so I'll stop now. Go watch the first movie if you haven't yet...then impatiently wait for the second one!
