The Voice Winners

The Voice Winners Seasons 1 to 11

The Voice premiered in 2011 and since then there has been eleven seasons and a variety of celebrity judges. The Voice which impacted viewership for American Idol causing it to be cancelled a few seasons later. The Voice differs from similar reality television shows by the celebrity judges not being able to see the contestants but only hear their voice which was a major complaint of American Idol

During this particular hub page we are going to look at the winners of the past eleven seasons of The Voice and take a look at what happened once they left the hit show

Javier Colon Season One Winner

Javier Colon won the very first season of The View and there was a bit of controversy surrounding his victory by viewers. The concern was that Javier has been previously signed and released three studio albums before he even appeared on The View. Regardless the win did very little for Javier Colon whose albums since have sold poorly.

Jermaine Paul Season Two Winner

Jermaine Paul was the season two winner of The Voice. Like the first season winner, Javier Colon, Jermaine had ties already with the music industry and had been nominated for a Grammy for best duo or group with a track with Alicia Keys. Since appearing on The Voice Jermaine Paul has released one studio album which has not gained a ton of traction

Cassadee Pope Season Three Winner

Cassadee Pope was the season three winner of The Voice. The young singer was the first country artist to win the reality television competition. Cassadee Pope had released a studio album prior to competing on The Voice. Since her winning the show Cassadee has released two studio albums with the first debuting at the number one spot on the country charts

Danielle Bradbery Season Four Winner

Danielle Bradbery was the season four winner of The Voice. The country singer would be signed to a major record label the day after the finale of The Voice and her first studio album which was self titled would quickly sell over a hundred thousand copies in its first week. Since then Danielle has released a follow up album.

Tessanne Chin Season Five Winner

Tessanne Chin was the season five winner of The Voice. The Jamaican singer had released a studio album before appearing on the hit reality television program and once she won The Voice Tessanne would release another studio album which had poor sales barely topping the top fifty.

Josh Kaufman Season Six Winer

Josh Kaufman was the winner of the sixth season of The Voice and has been the oldest to do so. Josh previously toured with his band The New Etiquette before appearing on the sixth season of the reality music program. After winning The Voice Josh Kaufman would release a self titled studio album which failed to gain much attention

Craig Wayne Boyd Season Seven Winner

The seventh season of The Voice was won by Craig Wayne Boyd who had previously released a self titled album. Boyd a country singer and songwriter from Dallas Texas studio album following winning the season sold very well the first week but then plummeted the following week

Sawyer Fredericks Season Eight Winner

Sawyer Fredericks was the season eight winner of The Voice at the age of sixteen. Along with Danielle he is the youngest winner in The Voice history. Since winning the reality television show Sawyer has released a studio album to poor sales

Jordan Smith Season Nine Winner

Jordan Smith was the ninth season winner of The Voice. Jordan who has a unique voice which is incredibly high pitched has been the best selling season winner of any The Voice competitors. His studio album Something Beautiful debuted high on the charts and stayed near the top for quite some time

Alisan Porter Season Ten Winner

Alisan Porter took home the title on Season Ten of The Voice. The former actress, Curly Sue, Alisan had previously released an album which did not sell well. Once winning The Voice Porter would release another studio album which unfortunately did not do well either

Sundance Head Season 11 Winner

Sundance Head took home the title for season 11 of The Voice in a surprise victory over Billy Gilman who many predicted to win. Sundance Head who had competed on American Idol but failed to make it into the final rounds, Since winning The Voice Sundance has yet to release a studio album
