Funny Pet Pictures

Those who own a cat know that they can provide a huge amount of entertainment. They are loyal and loving, seemingly independent thinkers, and unlike children, always willing to take a nap with no complaints. This cat pictured below came to me from an unwanted home a few years ago. He was 2 years old, thin, and cross-eyed from leaping into a car when he was just a kitten. Having a German Shepherd and a Border Collie already, I wasn't sure how things would turn out but decided to give it a try. As you can see, things turned out pretty good for Artie, the now pleasantly plump white cat pictured below. We often see him in this position and just shake our heads and smile, because its just too funny for words.

Who said squirrels aren't smart? This squirrel can see me standing on the other side of the window but he doesn't seem to mind an audience. Even the dog's bark has no effect. After scaring my birds away repeatedly from the birdfeeder attached to my window, I decided to buy a squirrel feeder; it is on a tree close to the porch. Occasionally, a squirrel will revisit my window feeder, but not daily as before.
