Dr. Dre is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur and actor from Los Angeles, California. He is also the founder and C.E.O of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics. Dr. Dre has produced for and overseen the careers of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Game among others.

Dr. Dre found fame with the gangsta rap group, N.W.A alongside rappers, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella. In 1992, he released his solo album titled, The Chronic, which made him one of the best selling performing artists of 1993 and also earned him a Grammy Award. During the same year, he produced labelmate, Snoop Dogg's quadruple platinum debut album, Doggystyle.

Dre has appeared in several movies such as Set It Off, Training Day and The Wash. He has currently taken a hiatus from rapping although he still produces hits for many rappers. Forbes has ranked Dr. Dre as the third richest figure in American hip hop scene with a net worth of over $250 million.

      Great photos! I love sotires like this of overbearing Europeans. I would always take it as a complement when in Italy and speaking Italian would be asked if I was French or English. There's something nice about not being pigeonholed as an American.

      I'm very glad you enjoyed this! Hip hop is constantly being flooded with trash nowadays so I felt the need to bring up some real talent. I miss the days when good music like this on the radio.       Not only is Dr. Dre a great artist, many people do not realize the endless charities and non-profit organizations he is actively a part of.

      Lauren Hill, Tupac and now Dr. Dre - you are walking me through some stellar kick ass memories of my generation.

      I'm not feeling quite as old as I really am when reading these.
