Tupac Shakur (or 2Pac) was an American rapper and actor from Oakland, Califoria. Tupac is one of the best-selling artists in the world; with his record sales reaching over 75 million as of 2010. Tupac is also one of the most controversial rapper of all time, constantly conflicting with the law and other rappers from the east coast.

Tupac made his musical debut in the early 90's as a roadie and backup dancer for the hip hop group, "Digital Undergroup". In 1991, Tupac released the classic album, 2Pacalypse Now, which is known to be one of his best albums. Tupac went on to release 4 more albums with his last being in 1996.

On September 7, 1996, Tupac was leaving the Mike Tyson - Bruce Seldon fight in Las Vegas, Nevada. The vehicle was occupied by former Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight and members of Shakur's entourage. At 11:15PM, a white, four door Cadillac pulled up to the vehicle, rolled down the window and shot Tupac several times in his chest, arms, thigh and pelvis. Tupac was rushed to the Southern Nevada University Medical Center. Six days later, he was pronounced dead.
