E-40
E-40 is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and investor from Vallejo, California. He is the founder of "Sick Wid it Records" and has released 17 studio albums since 1993. He has also released two collaboration albums with fellow California native, Too Short. E-40 is known for his witty wordplay, over the top lyrics and made up slang terminology.
E-40 started off as an underground artist but in 1995 when he released his second album, In A Major Way, he was opened up to a much wider audience. In '98, he began working with more mainstream artists outside of the Bay Area. His popularity grew even more in 2006 when he released the single, "Tell Me When To Go" which was produced by Lil Jon.
E-40 has collaborated with many rappers including Too Short, Tupac Shakor, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Akon, Lil Jon and Gucci Mane as well as many others.
