Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper from Compton, California. He is signed to Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope. Together, he, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul make up the hip hop super group, Black Hippy.

Kendrick Lamar rose to fame when he released his fourth studio album, Overly Dedicated in 2010. He released his first independent album in 2011 called Section.80. The album was received very well through Itunes.

Before the release of his first major label album, Kendrick Lamar had already acquired an impressive internet following. He had already worked with major artists such as Lil Wayne, Game, Drake, Dr. Dre, Young Jeezy, Talib Kweli, E-40, Busta Rhymes, Warren G and Bun B among others. His major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city,was released on October 22, 2012 and was received well by his followers.

      Great list but one thing I do have to say is how could you not include m.A.A.d City? I know it's all subjective but I haven't really met anyone who didn't like it when I showed it to them. Good lookin out though, voted up.

      Definitely a solid list with a lot of my favorites, but I'm surprised by the lack of some GKMC cuts. Now that his major debut has gotten more videos, would you include any of his more recent vids? And how do you feel about "I" video?
