    WHO is YOUR favorite female singer from the 1970s?  What do you LIKE about her singing style?  What attracted you to her singing style?

      Is that Donna Summer?
      I liked her style, especially the song "She Works Hard For The Money".........but I have to admit I don't necessarily follow singers in particular, I moreso follow the songs themselves.......

      I liked most of Dolly Parton's songs, and Tina Turner....well, Tina's just in a category all her own;  she was so talented;  fascinating to watch and to listen to!


      ...And I just now googled Donna Summer's name and found out she passed away at age 63 or so.........wow time sure flies by.   I had sometimes wondered about her over the years,  and am sad to hear about her passing.

        Yes, that is Donna Summer.  She was very influential in the 1970s music scene, particular disco.  Sadly, she passed away!
