What do you think about the 19 kids and counting scandal?

   Should America forgive and forget everyone deserves forgiveness? TLC pulling the plug is justified, because molestation is just plain wrong apology or not?

      No, America should not forgive and forget. NO ONE is thinking of his victims - 4 of his sisters, and a neighbourhood child. They will live with this for life, even if they say they've forgiven him. Being molested as a child affects you for life, even if you've had therapy or think you are past it.  Why should he get let off the hook because he apologised? Who hasn't given an apology they didn't mean to get of the hook?? I'm also concerned for his children - if he thought it was okay to molest his siblings as a teenager and HASN'T received professional help (which he apparently hasn't), then they are at risk as well.
      
      The man made his living by promoting the belief that homosexuals are child molestors, demonising a group of people who for the most part do not molest children. It would be ignorant to assume that any group of the population does not have child predators in it - so Im not saying the LGBT community doesn't .  But to make your living demonising a group by calling them child predators whilst being a child predator yourself.......
      
      He should be charged, and locked up, receiving psychological treatment for his issues - not given a slap on the wrist with a wet bus ticket. Why is NO ONE thinking of his victims??

      Not I said the Brittany for my 7 year old is a little girl. Maybe our cat needs a sitter though no hands on experience needed.

   What do I think about the scandal?  Well actually, as scandals go.....I'm relieved it has been exposed.  Things as seriously dangerous as child molestation should NEVER be kept hidden nor buried beneath a rug somewhere!
   
   That it happens to be Josh from the infamous "Duggar Family,"  speaks of human nature weaknesses, frailties & pathologies, no matter what it looks like on the outside!    Quite unfortunately though, the ignorance that abounds here is as egregious as Josh's crimes...(and YES he committed crimes.) 
   
   Although this highly fundamentally religious family would label this "sin" and/or a "fall from grace,"...this only holds true in church.  In our real world, the guy is your everyday, generic pedophile.  Plain and simple.
   
   Being sorry and falling on your knees, being prayed for and "forgiven" does not cure nor even CHANGE this behavior of inner conflict and deviant activities of a child molester.  It just doesn't.   Wearing a suit as a clean cut Duggar from a very strict Christian family and standing before a group of people PREACHING of the good, clean life and damning to hell all those who think differently than they do........Well, Josh buddy, I hate to bust your bubble, but you need to get your lily white, holier than thou butt to a DOCTOR, a clinic and long term therapy.  Anyone else would have been tried, convicted and imprisoned for a while, & registered as a sex-offender, had it been dealt with appropriately.  Again, not meaning to bust your little heavenly bubble......your activities are no different at all from the seedy old dirt bag on the streets who has a penchant for sex with kids. 
   
   It is a wise decision for the Reality (??) TV show of "19 kids & counting" to be cancelled.  We can only HOPE this will curb middle-aged Mom & Dad Duggar's need to procreate their own tribe of little Duggars......Most of us kept hoping they would simply run out of names beginning with the letter "J" !!
   
   This scandal is not much different than a lot of scandals.......it's just that it seems to have left the public shocked and confused.  WAKE UP PUBLIC!!   Josh and his wife have children.  If his wife has her head in the sand.....OR the Bible......she's gonna need GOD to protect her kids from Daddy!
