We play the Millionaires, Britney Spears, Beyonce, Lady GaGa...stuff that will get us girls moving. OR we turn on the TV to the music channels. It works great!

The greatest songs are the ones that make the greatest number of people want to dance.  The secret to finding those songs is rather easy.  Just learn as much as you can about the likes and dislikes of your invited guests.  I suggest that you send them a questionaire prior to the party.

    Age group
Social disposition (achievers, thinkers, kinetics, etc.)
    Time of year
Medium (i.e., you got discs, MP3s, LPs...live musicians)

Keep your list of factors short, then you'll be able to find the songs you like, THEN match those kinds (or genre) to the people coming.

    Good luck.
