    What are some measures you can take to escape from the entertainment news/media?

    It seems like everywhere you look the entertainment industry is hitting you in the face with the latest news on something that you don't care about at all. In what ways do you hide from this? Personally, I can't escape from this for long. Especially while at work.

    Get rid of your television.  Don't read entertainment magazines.  Stop putting importance on the lives and events of people who don't know who you are, who you've never met and whose lives have no impact on yours.

    Or get therapy to help you if you can't manage to do any of the above.

    Because you're asking this question, it's pretty obvious you don't  read entertainment  magazines, nor do you put importance on the lives and events of people who don't know who you are, nor on people you've never met and whose lives have no impact on yours.

    You even state that you don't care about it at all.

    I choose to just not take any notice of it. When something like that comes on TV, I just switch channel. But you can't hide from it completely, unless you go out into the wilderness or something.

    We just have to live with it - and not let it drive us mad!
