This to me is an odd question. You appear to be in Austin, Texas, and I've always thought that's a lively area! But apparently you do not have any DANCING SCHOOLS - what ever happened to ARTHUR MURRAY - aren't they in Texas?
The thing is, that's what Dancing Schools are all about! Teaching Beginners! Everyone has to start somewhere - and that's at the Beginning! For goodness sake, if you want to learn to dance, go to a Dancing SChool and BEGIN! You will probably find its the best thing you ever did in your life!
If you don't have a partner, you will most probably either meet another beginner, or the Studio will produce one for you.
Erin, stop woofling and get dancing! All good wishes.
