My favorite band is Maroon 5. I especially liked their album "Songs about Jane".
I also like Creed, 3 Doors Down and Train.

I love Bright Eyes and all the albums that Conor Oberst has collaborated in. He was named 2008 Best song writer. He has amazing lyrics and a unique style.

I am suggesting bands like Disturbed, Dishwalla Fuel, Splendor and Jars of Clay, Their songs can not be considered so ordinary.

Ben Harper. He touches on many genres of music including rock, blues, folk, and soul. In my opinion, one of the greatest performers of our time. Check out his live albums: Live from Mars and Live from Monreal Jazz Festival.

Yes.  If you are religious, you will like the overtones.

Cold Play.  Good contemporary Rock-N-Roll music.

Well it would have to depend on the mood I am in. Right now I am listening to Foo Fighters. I love them. When I am in a breezy, airy, laid back mood, I tend to lean towards them, Elton John, Mumford and Sons, Beatles, Bob Marley. If I take a turn towards the angry side I go for Nirvana, Bullet for my Valentine, System of a Down. Like I said though, it is my preference and I find that different moods trigger different music selections..

Since you're looking for music to download, I'm going to assume band or artist is appropriate. I think Ryan Adams is brilliant, and he's my favorite. Beyond that, I tend to listen to a variety of music depending on a number of factors.

Right now, some artists and bands on constant rotation (and great for this time of year) include Bon Iver, Stray Doggs, James Vincent McMorrow, Hey Rosetta!, Gotye, The National, Wild Beasts, and Jonsi (Sigur Ros). All depends on your tastes, but hopefully you at least find one or two you like.
