I am preparing my 100th hub, and for that I want to review 100 hubs written by other Hubbers. Please post links to hubs - your own or those of others - that you would want me to include. One link per post, please. I intend to review only one hub for each Hubber.
can i submit more than one idea on this forum? Don't worry, I don't expect you to consider reviewing all of them, as I'll settle for just one to be reviewed by you, as these are hubs that I wouldn't mind garnering more traffic for. Don't worry, im not going to submit anymore links besides these, so i won't hijack your forum. lol
Edit: In case you noticed, I did change the selected hubs to these. After thinking about it, I think these hubs have the potential to do even better than the previous ones I wanted you to look at, so I hope you don't mind if i change my mind this one time to give you these to look at. I'm sorry for changing my mind like that, as I hope you won't mind. I promise this will be my final selection for you to choose from
Hello... We have met in the forum's before. If you go to my page, I created a Hubs Award Show posted only Sunday's only. You will find more than 100 hubs to review. Also I would like you to tell me since I am a new hubber what you think of my awards show.
Thanks - It does seem there's a lot to learn. Up to now I've spent more hours than I'll ever admit thinking, researching and writing most Hubs. (I'm most proud of my latest Hub. It took a long time to write after a life time of thinking, reading and debate, and I guess I'm a little disappointed that it didn't attract more attention and discussion.) I read as much as I can from other Hubbers but I've been really keen to get a no-holds-barred critical appraisal since this type of analysis will prove a wonderful learning tool. Thank you so much for including the article and I look forward to hearing more in due course. And please don't worry about my feelings since it's probably a lot easy to be straight forward without having to worry about couching your thoughts so as not to offend. I feel flattered when someone takes the time to suggest any way to improve my work and/or its reception. Peace
If you haven't collected 100, I'd like to give it a try. I don't have many hubs that are worth to review, but few of them are ok. I just don't know which one you would be mostly interested (if you are, first of all), so I'm listing couple of them here for you to check out:
I've just finished adding a post script to an article about your project to something I wrote entitled: http://hubpages.com/hub/Are_Writers_Vainer_than_Others Of course, I'm writing about what you're doing and what you're going to be doing in my piece. I'd like to suggest that you add it to the other site I submitted. Of course, I'll be adding to the PS as your project develops. There's an amusing self-reference and interesting feed-back system introduced by this dynamic in addition to anything else.
My hubs at this time are in relation to Telecom Expense Management, TEM, and understanding domestic and global carrier telecom costs for fixed and mobile services. This is the third largest corporate expense and with a TEM solution an organization can save up to 30% immediately on monthly telecom costs. Here is a link to my first hub. http://hubpages.com/hub/Telecom-Expense … ecom-Costs
Oh i know. I kind of figured that. Sorry, I just thought about it in hindsight about which hubs have the potential to do well that aren't right now, so that's why i changed it. Don't worry, i promise this will be the last post about this. Anyways, thanks again for your help.
oh okay. well since valentine's day is just around the corner, then i guess i'd prefer if you read my valentine's day hub that i wrote a while back. I'd be curious to see what changes you think I should make, as it's very popular around this time of year, but it always sputters off to like maybe one or zero views a day after wards for the rest of the year.
I use a bit of a different approach for side income using Hubpages. I use Ebay capsules and was writing for Amazon products but they just dropped all IL affiliates due to our 66% income tax increase. All I really use on my hubs now is Ebay and Adsense. Would love you to take a look at my "business" approach on hubpages! I've found HP to be a really great place to offer your own ideas, products, experiences, so here's one of my hubs on how I do just that. Produces me quite a bit of cash flow thru ebay alone...
Hmmm.. Definitely, I can say something on the business model. As for the substance of that hub, I think I'll hand the initial reading over to a female associate, then give the review the final polish (so to speak).
LOL, Yes, the business end is what I was concentrating on, not so much the substance Certainly understand that it may not be a topic that you would choose to read about... It's kind of an unusual approach compared to the Adsense/Amazon norm. Really curious as to your thoughts?! Thank so much!!!
Ah, thanks for taking your time to read all the suggestions and monitor this thread. I'll be looking forward to reading your 100th! I'm sitting still and can't decide my 90th, never mind thinking about 100.
Now, let's see.... I love all my Canadian and sled dog series, but this one is doing very well and I'd love to see it score a 100. Enjoy this one...or any of the others.
This one got a lot of traffic on the first day (it was listed as 4th on google search) but the second day the traffic dropped enormously. I'm not sure why. I'm new at this and would love some more feedback. Thanks.
Beth and Diana, I look forward to reading your hubs. Your comments here remind me of the important distinction between reviewing and critiquing. Reviews are mostly written to create reader awareness (publicity), whereas critiques are more for the writer's self-improvement. But on HubPages, as your comments show, people want feedback not only to increase exposure, but also to find out how to improve, which in turn may lead to more traffic. So the reviews have to include some pointers, maybe, like a critique normally would.
I'm looking for other history teachers and/or enthusiasts who write lots of hubs that are related to history. I'm always looking for new information that I can incorporate into the courses that I teach. I was also wondering if anyone has success making money from their history related hubs. And if...
When googling something are you looking for short easy to read or long very explained answers?I'm confused. We are encouraged to write very long hubs. However I have always been the one when googling something to look for the shortest easiest (but of course understandable) answer. To me google is...
Creating a pleasant reading experience depends on many factors. If we just look at word counts, what can we get? Personally, internet reading for me is more for leisure. I do remember I would lose patience myself if the reading material is a little bit too long even if I am interested in the topic....
I haven't been actively writing on Hub Pages in a while and want to get back into this and this might get me motivated.I remember hearing about a 100 hub challenge some years ago and I know that I could not possibly write 100 hubs in a month. That is why I am attempting to do this in a...
