Gone With the Wind. Also my favorite book. It lets you live through the Civil War, it's as if you were there. But the great part is you don't get shot at, you don't have to get your clothes dirty, you don't get typhoid, you don't have to experience any of the actual discomfort, but you get to watch it happen around you, that's how realistic this movie is. And it was filmed in 1939...amazing.

Good question. Mine is probably The Goonies. It's a comfort movie. Also anything will Bill Murray (What About Bob, Larger Than Life, The Life Aquatic, Groundhog Day...). His humor is so refreshing and never gets old to me.

My all-time favorite movie has to be Serenity. You probably haven't heard about it, but I have watched it about a hundred times. The characters are superb and I recommend it for people  who like characters with depth and who don't mind a little bit of sci-fi.

Pride & Prejudice, the BBC version with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. I have every line memorized and watch it regularly. I also watch Sense & Sensibility often too, a very recent BBC version, very well done.

I either like movies that get my heart jumping or make my shed tears.
I could name a bunch, but the one movie is the Punisher staring Tom Jane. (This isn't the later one called Punisher:WarZone).

Punisher was the best film ever and I'm disappointed they didn't make a sequel. Tom surprised me by encompassing the true vision of Frank Castle transforming into the Punisher. I was surprised they chose John Travolta as Mr. Saint because in the original Punisher (not WARZONE) he becomes Jigsaw. However, John didn't do bad in his casting role. Even the Environment was casted right.

The Punisher showed you how the character of Frank Castle was meant to be. (Yes, I'm a fanboy of The Punisher).
