How do you entertain yourself online (besides HubPages)?

For me, it would be YouTube and Reddit. I'm a voracious reader and Reddit all but solves the problem of finding things worth reading.

Like you sashas89 I'm an avid reader and trawl the web for blogs about specific topics of interest.  I just started developing eLearning materials and am always on the lookout for support material. I don't just surf for the sake of surfing the web, but am driven by a specific topic or information about a device.  Yesterday I was trying to find if my iPhone would do a video screen capture. I already know about the photo screen capture, but want to go one step further. The answer I came up with is NO it doesn't, but came across some great sites to add to Favourites.

Online Scrabble and word games for a really good switch-off.

Usually I like to read up on the days news and then mosey on to youtube for a while - you can never watch enough funny cat videos. Finally it comes down to checking facebook or playing a game or two.

With some of the absurd wording and spelling to work through, it would be hard to find a better place than HPs for online entertainment, but I do find the art and photography sites worthwhile.

    Hi, sashas89!

For me, YouTube, Hulu, and the ability to pick up radio stations on the Internet, has mostly replaced actual television and radio. On YouTube I like to musically take a trip down memory lane, somewhat, and watch music videos of my favorite music from various genres, from the 1980s and 1990s. I like to watch the Kung Fu flicks of the 1970s, that had been my passion as I was coming of age in the 1980s.

I have a passion for black and white film noir movies and old-time radio anthology programs of all kinds -- YouTube is able to satisfy this desire as well. And sometimes one finds amusing people and videos on the Tube, of course. The other thing I like to do is watch videos of historians, economists, political analysts, etc, discussing public affairs -- this I do constantly.

There are certain news and information websites I peek in on, occasionally. And that, sashas89, is how I spend my time. I don't do FaceBook or anything like that.

    Take care.

I like to listen to radio online with Pandora, and I just discovered the new site Pinterest. It looks like pinning all the wonderful information you can find online may become addictive if I'm not careful.

Besides HubPages, I enjoy viewing videos and films on Youtube. Youtube offers a huge variety of different videos and some films with English subtitles.  Youtube is the kind of online site that you can choose whatever you want to view! Wikipedia is another site which I often use to read several articles for my knowlege.  Wikipedia even included many films, its synopsis and its cast;  books, authors, fashion, science, history, astronomy, strange phenomena, etc and many more interesting articles. To me, Wikipedia is like a comprehensive online dictionary!
