Does knowing that you are a successful music producer make people respect you more?
If you tell someone that you make a living producing original music, will they respect you more than just for the money you make? What about if they actually hear some of your work?

Some people may respect you more for your talent and success, while others may seek you out to see 'what they can get' from you.
