Are vinyl records making a comeback?
I heard a year or two ago that vinyl was making a comeback but haven't heard much since then.
It is true that the vinyl records will come back. However, it will back in a new mold. It will read by the LASER and the record will be in compact form. It will be in small but it will hold a large number of songs in different format. The quality of vinyl recording will be high. Nowadays, we are playing the CD but its archival value is rather lower than the vinyl records value. Moreover, you can play the 90-years old vinyl record without any problem whereas the CD will need special care about the CD storage system. The CD is very much prone to the condensation whereas the vinyl records have no problem like this. Therefore, in today's perspective, the return of the vinyl record is very much possible for the benefits of the music industry and for the music lovers as well.
yes they have been making comeback for a couple years now. Listen to vinyl for about a month straight-- then listen to a CD or an MP3 and you will notice a huge difference. I can not even listen to any other form of media then vinyl.. Reissues of great records are coming out weekly, and even new artists are releasing vinyl.

...indeed they never fully went away. What are your thoughts about this?It is said that vinyl records of the 1950s have never been beaten, sound-wise...and that digital formats such as CDs / MP3s, etc., sound "flat" in comparison.Do you agree or disagree?6SV

I recently read this article from the NY Times that talks about Kendrick Lamar and Common creating socially-conscious rap. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/22/arts/ … l?ref=artsI don't think Lamar's raps are consistant and think some songs out-weigh the social messages in some of the...
