    I don't really know, but for a while when I was in my teens I was obsessed with Buffalo 66. I also like Donnie Darko.

    It's a old one but check out "American History X" it is dark but the acting is great.

    I'd have to second Kyle on American History X...it's hard to watch in parts, but an excellent movie. I included the full review here:

    Also along the lines of hard to watch in parts, I can also highly recommend Snow Cake. I'm a huge fan of Alan Rickman, and Sigourney Weaver's performance was absolutely astounding.
