Tango is usually associated to a form of dance, but it is also a very rich and complex musical genre with specific structures and characteristics, and can be considered basically as a listening activity.

...more than listened to it...I've played it on the piano many times: La Comparsa, A Media Luz, and many others....  My absolute favorite tango of all times is "Y Como le Va?"

Whoopee! join the (small?) group of Tango players, as opposed to tango dancers! Basically piano players!

I am embarrassed to say I haven't really paid attention to it.  I've listened to it and tried to dance to it but never considered the structures and characteristis.  Next time I hear it I will have to do that.
