Who is a band or musical group that you have listened to your entire life?

Everyone goes through musical "phases", but some music sticks with us over a lifetime.  Name some groups that have done this in your life.

There are many musicians and groups that come to mind, but the one that stands out in my mind is The Bee Gee's. Since I grew up in the 70's and 80's, dance music is a favorite of mine, and songs like Stayin Alive, and You Should Be Dancing are the best to me. :-)

The first bands I got into as a kid were KISS, AC/DC, the Ramones and Judas Priest... And I still listen to them all today.

Earth, Wind and Fire has been there all along the way. In fact, they've recently released new music.

First band that comes to mind for me is the Beatles.  I found myself looking up 'Yesterday' on the web the other day, just to reminisce.  I first heard that one back in the 60’s, somewhere around the time I discovered girls (and breakups).
Boston has the songs most likely to make me crank up the radio and roll down the windows as I drive through town.
Others are Harry Chapin (‘Circle’), and Bob Segar (‘Like a Rock’).  Some songs change their meaning as you go through life, and those two are good examples.

Great answer! I love when songs that mean something change meaning to us over the years. Thanks!

For me that would be Elvis Presley. From my earliest childhood memories, I can remember my mom and dad always listening to Elvis. As well as my Grandmother. I still enjoy his music today. Elvis was a phenomenal performer with a voice like no other.

I love listening to my Grandma talk about Elvis, ha! She has such incredible memories of listening to his music on dates, at school and seeing an impersonator in Vegas. Thanks!

The Beatles and the "Boss". I know I only started listening to Bruce Springsteen when I was like 14, but I feel like its been since birth smile
