    He may be the greatest from the 2000's. I also am a big fan of the film, It Might Get Loud, and he wasn't out of place being up there with Jimmy Page & Edge.

    I'm not sure I'd go as far as spartucusjones in my praise, but Jack White is definitely AMONG the best guitarists of the 2000's (a list that surely includes Josh Homme, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Billy Howerdel, Dave Knudson, Matt Bellamy, and John Frusciante--assuming we're compiling a list of players who hit their stride in said decade and not before or after).

    But make no mistake: Jack White blends elements from the past, present and future in a way that all guitar players aspire to do, which is to say he takes all of these elements and magically injects his own style into the mix. The man has absolutely earned any plaudits he's been awarded!
