Do you think The Big Bang Theory (TV show) has impacted on the popularity of comics and video games?
I love this show and the way comics and games are interwoven into the storyline.
I don't know if it has made them more popular, but it has certainly helped to bring them more into the mainstream. People who watch the show are more likely to understand references to certain comics, video games, and even scientific fields - at the very least, they recognize the name.
