Is there an easy way to clean 35mm slides?
I found an old box of my 35mm photo slides. Many are covered with a film of dust. I would like to convert them to disc Can they be easily cleaned? Or will the lab do it?
I think with things like that you'd have to be careful using chemicals of any sort. I honestly would just breathe hot air on it like you would your glasses, then use an eyeglass cleaning cloth on it gently. I remember my mother had many of these photo slides when I was growing up.
distilled water with a drop of dish-washing detergent an a very soft cloth

Is it expensive to have 35mm slides transferred onto a CD?Any idea of the cost per slide? Is the quality of the picture usually as good the slide? Do I have to take these to a professional photographer to have them...
