What do you think is the best Werewolf and/or Vampire Movie out there?

For vampire movie mine is "Vampire Hunter D" series (Yes it is a cartoon, but I love it) and for the werewolf, that would be the "Ginger Snaps" series. So what do you think is best and your fave out there?

Coppola's "Dracula"   Love this movie.  (Even better if you see it dubbed and can then appreciate Keanu without his "accent")
    Wolf (office scenes)
    Werewolf in London (Slaughtered Lamb!)

The Lost Boys, a 1987 Warner Brothers film will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. Many talents complete this adventure thriller located in a small California community, including the young Jason Patric and Keifer Sutherland.

Number one: "The Howling" 1981 - groundbreaking special effects, a must see
Number two: "Wolf" 1994  - sexy werewolf movie (I agree Ciel)
And vampire movie . . . "The Hunger" 1983 - sorta kinky, sophisticated

For werewolves, I like "An American Werewolf in London" and "Ginger Snaps". The original Howling is pretty good, but it spawned arguably the worst film series in history.

For vampires, I like the original version of "Fright Night" and "Let Me In". I haven't seen Let the Right One In but I've heard it's great.

I like the original "Wolfman" w/ Lon Chaney. It is old Hollywood w/o all the bells & whistles, but it makes up for it in the creepy foggy woodlands w/ the old gypsy woman warning of the sign of the pentagram and the horror of Lon Chaney over his own condition.  Staying close to this classic story is An American Werewolf in London" dealing w/ a hiker who is bitten by a wolf. It has both the great writing and special effects.
