Definetely "Tears for Fears." Saw them live in Atlantic City NJ, on August 20, 2010. I was almost next to them, singing all their hits, like a teen in rage. Now, that was beyond a dream come true.

Have to like "Shout". It's a great song for a good vent! LOL! Thanks for coming in, Lord!

I love music but I can't say any rock band, or any musician has had any influence on me other than to enjoy their art and music.

I feel the same way actually, duffs mom. I love music, and so many bands do great songs that it's hard to find one band that influences you! Thanks for commenting!

Cocteau Twins - I had never heard anything like them before and I haven't heard anything like them since I first heard them.  I think their lead singer, Elizabeth Fraser has one of the best voices ever and her layered harmonies were amazing.  Sadly they broke up in 1996.  I still losten to them on my ipod every day though.

Their lead singer can really hit the high notes. A really ethereal sound! Thanks for commenting, Jools.

Nickelback.  I kind of grew up with them and they were the first rock band that I really liked.  I can connect with all their songs and I think they had a big influence on who I am today.  I've got all their albums.  Plus, they are amazing live.  You have to go see them.
