Have you ever used an Animated Video Background for any of your projects?
An Animated Video Background, or motion loop is typically a .mov/.wmv file which you would use in probably a presentation, a video project (say intro of something), a slideshow etc. Many people use it with softwares like Windows Movie Maker to create video projects.
Have you ever used it? Free/Paid? Which software did you use it with? Were there sufficient options to choose from? If you ever have to use it in future, what kind of video background would you like for your project? Any specific color scheme or theme preferences?
I did once on a PowerPoint project a former boss was giving. I put together about three minutes of video showing the tracks of the hurricanes that had hit the state recently and had a slide with a transparent background appear with the name of the storm as the scenes shifted. This was low end work and I am not sure this is what you were talking about.
Thanks for your response Larry. So the video you added were deeply related to the presentation - it seems so. What I meant was some decorative/supportive animation which may not be too specific - or it may be if being used as a concept illustrator.

I find animated GIF very distracting. Sometimes even hold one hand up to cover it so I can read. What do you think? If small and is an avator that's OK - it does catches your eye - but what about a big gif?

What are some home improvement projects that most people could do themselves? Are there some tasks that most homeowners could do themselves rather than pay a handyman or other professional to do?
