Staying home until Saturday evening, then see some friends. Rest all Sunday, even though a bike ride or swimming some laps is an option after lunch with the family.

I'm sure that different people will respond differently.  If you're tired, you'll enjoy the weekend at home.  If you're at home for most of the week, you'll enjoy going out.

That said, most people will enjoy the weekend because of who they're with, whether they stay at home or go out.

It depends on a few  things.
    1. What mood I'm in. 2. Are there any special events or "happenings" I've been looking forward to. 3.Am I staying home with a "special someone" or simply lounging around by myself watching TV.
Generally speaking I would have to get out and do something at least on one of the weekend days or else I'd get cabin fever. Coming home from work on a Friday evening and (never leaving) until Monday morning to go back to work sounds pretty depressing to me. :-)

For me, it depends on who I'm with rather than what I'm doing. If I'm with friends, I prefer to go out and have fun. If I'm with my family or my fiance, I like spending the night in and just relaxing.

It really depends. Some days I like to go out for the weekends. Then there are other days when I just want to rest.

    ReneeDC1979,
Going out at night on the weekend is the most fun as far as I'm concerned. I recently went to a rooftop bar and had the best time looking down at all of the lights. It was really different for a Saturday night out on the town. Oh do I love the weekends.

Staying at home on weekend rather than going out as there are too many crowds. Enjoying most of my weekends at home with my family members is far better than outing.
