Totally love this show. The attitudes people have toward each other in survival situations is about the same when they are fully clothed, if not more so. It's like the demon in you comes out, not because you're naked in the wild, but because you're an idiot who broke the fire starter...and you're being eaten alive by bugs.
I think the idea of the people being naked is silly and only being used as a way to get people to watch the show. They could be wearing minimal clothing and the show would still be about what they have to do to survive.

Are you afraid of the dark? If so, why? What is it about the dark that makes people afraid? Do you think it is culturally dependent or universal to all cultures that many people are, to some degree, afraid of the dark?

I'm thinking about joining a scriptwriting challenge on LiveJournal to play with a historical fantasy idea I've been kicking around for a few years.Anybody else have movie or television ideas they'd love to see on screen?

Why are so many Americans, I am guessing 80 - 85%, so afraid or embarrased by nudity? Not counting their own or spouses in private.

Whether you are straight or gay, I am curious to know how many people watch it on TV, and do you find it good? Realistic? Poor or unrealistic? Over-done? Under-done? Non-representational? Or do you watch it just for the intimate scenes? Please keep it PG13 answer-wise, if possible please.

Okay, I have to admit it, I just don't get it. I mean, I see no purpose in it, no reason whatsoever! Can anyone tell me, please, What is the point in being afraid of someone else? Or, jealous? Threatened? And, I'm not talking about someone who's intentionally...
