Do you ever tire of consuming other people's entertainment?
Every time we watch a film, read a book, listen to some music, we're engaging with something that someone else created. We're literally subjecting ourselves consciously and unconsciously to the contents of their mind (or minds, if it's a collaborative effort). Do you ever tire of this, and wish you could create the entertainment, or even BE the entertainment?
Frankly, how many people are really endowed with creative skills? How many can become accomplished singers, artistes, film makers etc? A vast majority cannot. There is nothing wrong if they enjoy in somebody else's creative entertainment.
Even if I were, say a capable musician, why should I feel 'tired' of listening to some other talented musician's music? In fact I can really appreciate a variety of style, learn a few nice things, appreciate better talent or at least compare and feel "I am a better singer" to boost my ego!
