What was your favorite action movie of the summer?

There were 3 big blockbuster action movies on the big screen at the movie theaters this summer. It all started out with Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. Then The Man from U.N.C.L.E. hit the theaters with a big bang, and then Hitman: Agent 47 came onto the scene. If you could choose, what would your favorite action movie be this year in 2015?

I loved Mission Impossible!  I will go see anything with Tom Cruise.  Second In line is the Avengers, but that may have been in the Spring.  I plan to see American Ultra tomorrow, the previews have a lot of action but MI is my number one so far.  Great question.  I LOVE the movies and could go on and on.  I live at the movie theatre.  PS: I may still go see U.N.C.L.E. and Hitman

The Hole Story: Just saw the movie No Escape 2 days ago! Nail biting action, kept me on the edge of my seat.  Opened this weekend...No Escape and Mission Impossible are now tied for me

Well, I'd say there were plenty of other action films, such as the MCU movies, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Jurassic World. Of the three you list, I'd select Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. This series has improved since the third entry. I still would put Ultron ahead of Rogue Nation in terms of summer season action films.

The Original release date for  Jurassic World was actually pre-summer on June 9th 2015 Pat. and Ultron came out on April 13th 2015 when we still had snow on the ground. Both were good movies but I was really looking for summer movies.

The calendar is just a suggestion in Hollywood. Their summer movie season did begin with Ultron, and has pretty much concluded now.

Mad Max: Fury Road is probably the single best action film of the decade, let alone just this year, sooooo...I nominate that. A close runner-up for this year would be Kingsman: The Secret Service.

I was really looking for those hot summertime movies Zelkiiro. Mad Max: Fury Road was released in the US on May 15th 2015, and Kingsman: The Secret Service was released in the US on February 13th 2015. Both were really good movies and I saw them both

Well, if you're looking for a Summer 2015 film that's any good, there's Straight Outta Compton and...basically nothing else. I guess the new Mission Impossible is alright? Maybe?

I saw the Jurassic Park one in IMAX and it was worth it just for the scene where the dinosaur comes shooting out of the water. I think most of the other viewers went 'ooo' smile I didn't think that the storyline was up to much though, but it's a franchise right, so there'll be another one out soon. I don't really like when they compromise on the storyline because they have another release planned - it kind of robs you of a decent film experience, but there you go that's the industry I suppose. I really want to see the Hitman one - it hasn't come out yet in the UK but I loved the first one and loved how he kept watch over the girl - way cool! I don't know about action films this year but Salt is a film I can watch over and over - Jolie is amazing! smile
