Have you seen the 1993 film Baraka?
And what did you think of it? How would you rate it? And any other commentary on it.
It is a documentary film, with no commentary, just sound and visuals of people places and things from all over the world.
I thought it was exceptionally good and decided it was worthy of my top five list of films of all time. I noticed there was a copy on youtube allthough it is only 360p which is a bit of a shame since this film exists in 8k resolution.
I liked it. We watched it during philosophy class as a kind of relaxation and it did made me think. One of those films that can deliver a message without a single word said, which is a really good quality.
Have you seen Samsara (2011)? It's built on the same concept, from the same director, just with more time placed into production and more money of course. It was filmed in five years in over twenty countries.

What is the worst film you have ever seen and why?I can find enjoyment in some pretty bad films, but the worst film I have ever seen was Uwe Boll's Bloodrayne. I was only able to bear about a half hour of the film before shutting it off and walking away. The film doesn't have a single redeeming...
