It is a type of movie that I refer to as mass population, meaning Steven Spielberg type movies that involve allot of people which creates a certain kind of atmosphere that's hard to describe.
They usually involve the fate of the world, which is another aspect that I like because it feels important and it makes everything more entertaining.
I'm not really sure why else I like it.
I tend to prefer horror in general over other film genres, I gravitate more towards slashers (ala "Friday the 13th" and "Halloween") and monster/creature features. I can take or leave most Zombie stuff outside of the George Romero canon.
I don't really like Horror genre. But Zombie films are good. However I like Sci-fiction films set in Space or on another planet or universe and if there is an element of Horror in sci-fiction films I don't mind.
I prefer supernatural based horror films - themes to focus on hauntings, spirits, demons, etc. I'm not a fan of slasher films, I prefer suspense and jump-scares over gore and blood.
