SO many hubs written by some! Are any big hubbers active on main social media? I doubt it. No time!
Where do you find all these subjects? Frankly some are so trivial and menial it seems some are just trying to write as many hubs as possible. I'm busy SOCIALIZING on facebook and two Twitter accounts. So, I don't have the time to just stay on here AND doing the other required tasks (like maybe what I'm doing here to just fill up time and space.) I'm joking. But I DO have a job and a life. Go see for yourself and find me on facebook (same name and nickname.)
But, really, so many subjects and some on the most nit-picky subjects. Maybe I just have too much testosterone in my blood.
Well Dan, I have published around 255 hubs here over six years. i hope most of them aren't "trivial, menial, nit-picky subjects" though. I do use Facebook, , Google + and About Me, but I spend about as much time on all them combined as I do here at HubPages.
As well as writing here I spend a lot of time socialising through comment on hubs and forums. Twitter is boring to me and Facebook is ok for some light relief at times or to catch up with family or promote hubs. To each his own I guess.
Not most hubs and I'm quite eclectic in interests. But most EVERYTHING under the sun is covered in here. How do I keep up? Subject get stretched out so often. Short hubs get ousted. (Poetry? Ha!) Twitter is geared for young but links are interesting.
One of the best things about Hub pages is that no one is setting standards for others about what they should be doing here. I believe that you enjoy socializing, so good for you, enjoy it. What surprises me just a bit is that you find it unusual that somebody else may have a passion to write hubs. I have done 100 of them over 4 months since I started, and the number is not important to me, it's the challenge of putting some thoughts together that others may find interesting. Well, to be honest about it, I am happy and proud that the number came to100, but again, it's not about the number. - I certainly wish you a lots of fun at socializing on Twitter and Facebook.
I don't know about "testosterone". If you don't mind some humour, it's more of women's fun to chat back and forth, so an excess of "estrogen" would be more likely.

Am I The Only One Who Doesn't Like Twitter?I have been toying with Twitter recently, and I can honestly say that I do not like it. I am wondering if anyone else out there in HubPages land feels the same way? I just don't find it appealing to watch a stream of short cryptic posts go by...

Just wondering what sites Hubbers use to promote their articles? I have seen a lot of changes over the years with some sites no longer allowing links in forums or comments, and some article sharing sites just going away. I primarily use Facebook and Twitter these days to share my...

Do you use social media to bring traffic to your hubs? What are your favorites?

If we pump up our use of social media, i.e., marketing our articles more, will it help increase our traffic much? Or won't it make much difference because we are more dependent upon organic traffic? Something tells me we might have to wait out this drought. What say you?
