Movie I saw as a child in the 70's,G rated, possibly Disney.
This movie was about a father and young son who had been hunting in Africa or some similiar place and their plane crashes when they are leaving. The son survives and the dad does also for a short time before dying. The son has to give what they shot to hyenas to get them to leave as they can smell it at the plane. After that the boy has to survive before being rescued.I believe it to have been in theaters approx. 1975-1978 probably.
