The story being told in 'Star Wars' is a classic one. Every few hundred years, the story is retold because we have a tendency to do the same things over and over again. Power corrupts, and when you're in charge, you start doing things that you think are right, but they're actually not.
LOL. so, what is the Hollywood equivalent to 100 years? 14 days? Seriously. The formula is used in a lot of movies.
Ha-ha. So true. But, it was "new" when the first Star Wars was released.
I would have said the first time that basic story was told the character was called "Hercules". I think "Young man saves the world" is a little older than Star Wars.
Yes it seems when we think our way is the right way we too become like the perpetrator, the abuser, the corrupter...WE all have to watch we don't becoem like the person who demands "it's my way or the highway".
We need to be in the other person's shoes. We need to understand each other better. But...when it comes to Star Wars it's all about the Force!
