      i really dont know what Techno is, or its difference from House, Trance music.. but i do listen to Hed Kandi, DJ Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and other DJs..

      so how is it classified then?

    NO..I am a metal head who likes hard rock/rock/classic rock..Static-X is Metal with a bit of techno beats, I guess you could say in a way..They are 1 of my favorite newer bands

    I like trance (Progressive/Melodic). 90% of songs on my HDD are Trance 10% are from various other genres.

    David Berne and Brian Eno did a CD titled "My life in the bush of ghosts",don't know what to call it but it is Bizarre to say the least!Love it!

    By the way, most electronic music is NOT techno, but rather classified as Electronic Dance Music (EDM for short).  Techno is a sub-genre of EDM.
