In recent news, the popular Netflix show, "Dark Crystal:  Age of Resistance", was cancelled after only one season at Netflix.  According to various sources, some people claim it's because the "binge watching system" at Netflix doesn't work, and this is proof of that.  What I mean by the "Binge watching system", Netflix has a history of just dumping entire seasons all on the same day so viewers can binge watch the entire season at their convenience, while other streaming services like  "Disney Plus" for example will release a new episode of the "Mandalorian" by a weekly basis after the season premiere of that show comes out.  Meaning you'd have to come back each week to see a new episode.

Anyways, many  people are speculating that the "Binge watching system" doesn't work for streaming services and that's why the show is being cancelled, while others cite it's because they got rid of the "Dark Crystal" movie before the series even premiered on their service.

And then some people are saying that "Cuties" is responsible for the show's cancellation, since it's been proven that Netflix has lost subscribers and money over the film so much that now they're forced to try to save money; hence why "Dark Crystal Age of Resistance" is being cut because of how costly the production on it is for the service considering they use actual puppets for the show.

"Dark Crystal:  Age of Resistance" is a prequel series to the iconic 80's film, "Dark Crystal", that utilized Jim Henson puppetry to tell a dramatic story similar to David Bowie's "Labyrinth" film.  Anyways what are your thoughts on this?  Are you sad?  Are you happy?

Do you think this proves that Netflix doesn't know what it's doing with these shows, and how "Dark Crystal" is a show that's a slow burn and how the binge watching system doesn't work for shows like it?   Or do you think the show was a mere casualty to save money because "Cuties" is costing Netflix stocks to drop so much more than expected?  Please discuss.
