does Spider-Man no way home prove theaters still have a future?

    Throughout the year, people have been claiming that streaming will be the future and theaters will be obsolete.    And when a film has underperformed this year, the pandemic was cited as an excuse. 

    My questions to you people is this.  Does Spider-Man no way home prove theaters will always be relevant in spite the rise of streaming services?    And does this dispell any excuses moving forward that a film can't be successful due to the pandemic?   Please discuss.

      People want to excape reality , it will do well.Marvel comic are always most popular.

    Valid question. It seems only Comic book movies have gotten anything resembling blockbuster numbers, while West Side story and Nightmare Alley haven't opened well.

    So unless it's a tentpole, you're screwed.
