CBS just pulled the plug on Two and a Half Men because Charlie Sheen, while he's on vacation in Mexico with two porn stars, rants at one of his producers during a radio show.  He's caused all the people on production to miss out on several weeks of wages due to his rant.  He's made a complete ass of himself.  And I'm mad cause I really like that show.

I just listened to his rant on the air...what an ass.
he put hundreds out of work..
      maybe he'll get sober..??

Sober?!  I don't think he knows what that means.

I agree...look up jackass in the dictionary and you will see his picture.

Think of all the people that will lose their jobs if the never comes back.

Yeah, I hope he manages to turn himself around like Robert Downey, Jr. appears to have done.

Yes, but Robert Downey Jr. was in his 20s...Charlie Sheen is in his 40s.

True, although didn't Downey Jr. relapse when he was in his mid-to-late 30s?  I haven't paid close enough attention to know for sure.

But, yes, I imagine that the longer Sheen's bad habits continue, the harder it will be for him to stop.

The guy is something else, for sure!  He's got it all, and he throws it all away because he doesn't have any self-control, it's crazy!

It's about time. If you perform poorly at work, you lose your job.
These troubled celebrities need a reality check.

Holding other people's lives hostage comes with the addiction territory, I'm afraid, FK.
Charlie Sheen is a very sick man. You can tell from his bizarre behavior and incoherent rants that the drugs and alcohol have fried his brain.
He has been offered help and has rejected it. He just isn't ready. Personally, I don't think he ever will.
The one I feel sorriest for is his dad. He got sober and now has to watch helplessly as his son self-destructs. That is the definition of agony.

Okay, now I feel bad because I was only concerned that I have nothing to watch to lead me into the Big Bang Theory.

He knows what it means but rejects it.
I mean really, what fun would sobriety be?
Sober people don't get to beat their wives, rant on the radio or go to Mexico with hookers.
No fun. No fun at all.

Wish I could advise you. I have no idea what day or time Two and a Half Men airs or what could be an alternative.
But hey -- you can always devote that time to Hub Pages, right?
    tee hee

It's about time CBS take action!I believe in respecting one's private life but when violence is present-then the respect has been broken and intervention is necessary. He must get help!

Charlie Sheen got fired because he said 9/11 was inside job. Know of anyone else who said the same thing and got fired? Its called free speech USA style.

He got fired because he was too drunk to do his job. He got fired...and he may actually not be fired but come back in September...because he slagged off the producer and used racial slurs against him. Anyone would be fired if they kept missing work.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not surprised at all by Charlie Sheen's actions, as he's always been known to me as the Lindsey Lohan of the guys.  Someone who keeps getting second and third chances, and they inevitably keep screwing things up for themselves.  I do feel sorry for all the people that worked on "Two and a Half Men", as I know it's going to cost them their jobs; along with it hurting CBS' core audience.  However, I don't really feel the least bit sorry for Charlie Sheen, as this just goes to show you how amazingly arrogant he truly is.

First of all, he's not exactly a big enough name actor to slander and criticize whoever the hell he wants.  He's an actor that has the potential to be a big screen actor but because of his own stupidity, he's reduced to being a TV actor.  Yes, there's a difference between a TV and movie actor folks.  Yet, he can't even keep his TV job going for him as he obviously showed, by his won reckless actions.

I hope for his families sake and his that he manages to seek help.  However, I doubt he will.

I don't feel sorry for Charlie Sheen, he's a waste of space, the way he treats people and just assumes they'll be there after his sick rambling, it's like Mel Gibson he's no better...These celebrities think because they have money and their in the public eye they can do whatever they want, that'll soon change...They used to get away with drinking and driving, us as normal people wouldn't get away with half of what these celebrity drug addicts do...One day Charlie Sheen and every other actor on the downhill slide will have their world come tumbling down...Maybe people like us should just quit watching any movies, TV shows that they make, after all if it weren't for normal people they wouldn't make any money - would they?

All I can say is that Charlie is "winning" and "on a drug called Charlie Sheen".  I agree he needs some serious help but I wonder if will not be too late.
