Updated on October 2, 2014

Oprah and Lisa Marie Presley, An Interview With Michael Jackson's Ex-Wife

On Thursday, October 21, 2010, Oprah Winfrey interviewed Lisa Marie Presley, ex-wife of Michael Jackson. Reportedly, this is the first time Lisa Marie spoke out about her ex-husband's death.

On this page, you will find more information about the interview between Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson. You will be able to watch the Oprah Winfrey show in which she interviewed Lisa Marie Presley via three Youtube videos. Hopefully, Oprah will release a new boxed set of interviews so that people can access this one in better quality than the video from Youtube.

Oprah did a masterful job of keeping the questions coming and they managed, in less than an hour, to talk about many of the subjects that are foremost in the public's mind. Oprah and Lisa Marie talked about the parallels between Elvis Presley's and Michael Jackson's life, whether or not there was pressure for Lisa Marie to have a baby, whether Lisa Marie suspected drug use, why the marriage ended and if Lisa Marie thinks she could have saved Michael Jackson's life. Finally, they close on whether or not Michael Jackson had to die for Lisa Marie to realize that he loved her.

The subject matter was serious and sad. There was a lot to think about and I found myself still processing the interview the day after I watched it.
